Skyforge: Next Update Detailed

In our next update, Relentless Onslaught, pantheons will be able to continue their battles against the Death Dealers in the D3 Distortion!

This time you’ll find yourself face to face with Melegh – an extremely powerful Reaper. Melegh is a dangerous opponent, requiring careful selection of classes for the adventure. Simply grouping up and devastating Melegh in a short time will not be possible as your opponent is invulnerable to attacks by characters not in the Divine Form and he can only be damaged when in a state of Rage.

During the battle with Melegh, two phases alternate, each repeating five times. This reaper can subjugate immortals to his will. What that means is, be prepared to fight your own allies or, more precisely, their enslaved bodies. After the boss accumulates 4 points of Rage, one member of the group can assume their Divine Form and fight Melegh one on one.

Melegh’s Abilities

First Phase

  • Subjugation
    Selects one opponent and divides their body and spirit. The enslaved body, subjugated to the will of the reaper, starts walking towards him obediently. If the body reaches Melegh, its spirit will be destroyed until the end of the battle, and the body will completely yield to the boss and attack its former allies. The spirit loses all its abilities, becomes the main target of the Test of Tenacity ability, and with a 2 second frequency, bursts of negative energy form in a 5-yard radius of it, inflicting damage to all characters in the area.
    Killing the enslaved body frees the spirit and gives the reaper one point of Rage. The death of the spirit takes one point of Rage away from the boss.

  • Test of Tenacity
    If there are no other characters in a 10 yard radius of the spirit, Melegh only inflicts damage to the spirit itself. The longer Melegh attacks the spirit, the greater the damage it receives. If there is at least one character in a 10 yard radius of the spirit, Melegh will inflict the same damage to everyone within a 10 yard radius of the spirit. The longer Melegh attacks several characters around the spirit, the greater the damage to them.
    If the number of targets attacked at the same time changes (just spirit or spirit and allies), the boss loses 1 point of Rage.

  • Otherworldly Pull (ability is used during the second cycle of the battle and in all subsequent cycles)
    Used if Melegh only attacks the spirit during the Test of Tenacity stage.
    A negative effect is applied to all characters for 2.5 seconds, after which they will be pulled towards the spirit. The effect is removed by dashing.

  • Necrotic Aura (used in the second cycle of the battle and in all subsequent cycles)
    Used if Melegh attacks several characters at the same time during the Test of Tenacity stage.
    A negative effect from the aura is applied to all characters in a 10 yard radius, knocking other characters away. The effect is removed by the cleansing abilities of the support classes.

  • Grave Bond (used in the third cycle of the battle and in all subsequent cycles)
    Melegh selects two characters and binds them with grave energy for 10 seconds. If the energy is red in color, the characters must stay close to each other, and if blue, they should be no closer than 10 yards away from each other.

  • Disarmament (used in the fourth and fifth battle cycles)
    Melegh takes away the weapon from one of the characters and hides it in one of three ghostly orbs. The other two conceal his Vird minions.

 RuneScape heads east with a new archipelago continent and a new venue for its annual community convention

 RuneScape is setting sail for a brand new continent this October – The Eastern Isles – and RuneFest 2016, the iconic game’s fan convention, is set to celebrate the upcoming Polynesian-inspired destination! Taking place on Saturday 17th September at London’s Battersea Evolution, RuneFest 2016 will take attendees on an epic journey across the seas to the new oceanic land of islands. ALBION ONLINE GETS WEALTH OF NEW ARTIFACTS IN THE FINAL BETA

 German Developer Sandbox Interactive is dedicated to giving players of the sandbox MMORPG Albion Online the best possible gaming experience. The addition of the new Artifact Items in the Final Beta is yet another proof. These special items give players a new type of powerful equipment – each with a distinctive look, unique abilities and spells embedded in them. That doesn’t just mean more valuable loot in the PvE zones. It means a whole new way to increase a player character’s power and versatility.

When the Final Beta goes online on August 1st, 18 of these Artifact Items (10 weapons, 2 off-hands, 2 amor sets) will be available for players to craft.   Now through August 16, 2016, fans of popular anime “Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]” can step into the fantasy world in a new collaboration with Mabinogi, the world’s most expressive MMORPG. Players can don the attire of their favorite “Fate/stay night [UBW]” characters, including hardworking student Shirou Emiya, the mysterious Rin Tohsaka, or cheerful but callous Illyasviel von Einzbern, and become true Masters of magic as they battle for the Holy Grail in this new, limited-time, collaborative event.

In “Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works]”, Fuyuki City, Japan is in the midst of the Fifth Holy Grail War; a secret magical tournament in which seven Masters chosen from the populace must fight alongside seven reincarnated legendary heroes in a battle to the death to claim the powerful magical artifact known as the Holy Grail. Mabinogi players will be able to recreate this epic battle through several in-game events including:

·         Fate/ Servants Event: Manifest the powerful skills used by the Servants, in the Jousting Arena of Tara. Prove your strength and earn rewards such as Saber’s Excalibur, Archer Bage, Saber Figure and many more!

·         In-Game Cosplay: For a limited time, players can collect outfits and “Fate/stay night [UBW]” weapons to cosplay as their favorite characters from the anime. H1Z1: On Death You Will Now Rise as a Zombie

Hey everyone!

It’s been a while since I posted one of these. Although I do apologize for the extended dry period, I do want to clarify my update cadence going forward. As you noticed last update, our current build was on the Test Server for a good amount of time. This supports our general philosophy that publishes remain on test until they reach a quality level we are comfortable with. I know some of you are thinking, “Yea, there were still bugs in that publish”.  Fact is, H1Z1 has been receiving a lot of changes under the hood and we just adopted some of the combat improvements from KOTK which we feel are relevant to JS. This includes many bug fixes and performance adjustments.  As much as we would love to avoid a single issue, as soon as we publish an update to the masses, issues tend to show themselves more rapidly. We are happy that we could turn a lot of these around quickly and we want to thank all of you who helped us out by reporting issues.

Moving forward, you can expect an official updated from me AFTER we do a live publish. This way, you get the new stuff and you see what’s coming next. Pretty straightforward! 

So, what’s happen in development?

As usual, no guarantees for release date of the following topics. They’ll go live when they’re ready and they will hit the Test Server first!

Weapon enhancement recipes

You’ll now be able to kill rare zombies to find prototype weapon parts.  You’ll combine these prototype parts with normal weapons to discover a recipe.  The newly crafted weapon will have special abilities and stats. They will also have finite lifetime and cannot be repaired.  So, save these for a “Special” occasion.

Here’s an example of what you can expect:

 

Upon death

You player will now rise as a zombie. So you or your friends will have to….um….kill you again to get your stuff back. Should be fun!

Boss zombie experimentation

I don’t want to spill the beans too much on this one. As we continue growing Just Survive, we’re always looking for ways to introduce new play loops into the game.  Having boss encounters plays well with many of the things we want to do going forward. So, don’t be surprised if you run across a more vicious situation sometime soon.  And you thought bears were scary! Hah!

Survival Score Servers:

We’re putting together another server ruleset. This one is designed around the notion of “How well did I survive?”

It’s going to work something like this:

A few designated servers will be on an auto wipe system. Every XX weeks (1, 2 or 3 possibly) the world will end. The server will wipe itself and give a final score to each player. This score is accumulated and displayed in the UI as you are playing. You’ll get points for things like zombie kills, recipe discovery... Etc.  Think of it as a more advanced version of the death screen when it presents your end stats.  Past scores will be available for some undetermined length of time also.

We are still designing and working out the kinks with this one and you can expect to play it on the Test Server first to provide your own feedback. Expect to hear more about this in the future.

Exploiters

We are fully aware of the current exploits going on. We do not speak publically regarding steps being taken when dealing with this sort of thing.  But I will say, if you are caught exploiting, you will be banned. Please pass it along.

Loot

For a long time now, loot has been in a state which wasn’t on par with a survival experience. We’ve read all your posts; we’ve gone invisible and observed many players.  We’ve checked high, low and medium pop servers. We spoke to many players live in chat.

I’m sorry if we’ve given you the easy life in the past but times need to change a bit. In a nutshell, the current loot drop rates are intended.  Building a base was never intended to be a simple task btw…

Today, during an EA Star Wars™ “Meet the Makers” panel at Star Wars Celebration in London, James Ohlen, Director of Design for BioWare helped celebrate the game's upcoming 5-year anniversary, revealing a brand new digital expansion coming this fall, Knights of the Eternal Throne. The all new expansion adds more of BioWare's trademark cinematic storytelling, as well as exciting new game features in one of the largest updates the team has made since the game launched 5 years ago in 2011!

Atlantians,

After nearly ten years of traveling the globe to battle the corruption of Oriharukon, we regret to inform you Nexon America, NDOORS and Daum have arrived at the difficult decision to discontinue our service of Atlantica Online. Publishing rights will be transferred to VALOFE Global Ltd, an online and mobile game developer and subsidiary of VALOFE.

We've enjoyed our time with the Atlantica Online community, and all of the memorable experiences we shared. We've done our best to provide you with a robust and enjoyable experience, but unfortunately we've been unable to maintain our player base and have seen the community dwindle.

For those of you who have stayed and wish to continue playing Atlantica Online, you will be able to transfer your account and characters to the VALOFE service once it begins, and we will announce a service transfer schedule and other details soon.

We'd like to thank all of our players for their support throughout the years; we could not have accomplished all we did without you, and we hope you will join us in a new adventure soon. Stay tuned for invites and opportunities to join the community of other Nexon America titles.

 RPG System
Shape your character and level your skills. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an open world RPG and allows you to freely choose your playstyle: a diplomatic way using your speech skills, a sneaky way using your stealth skills, or a violent way with your weapon ready. You will only become better by actively using your skills or by visiting different trainers. But be careful, everything you do in Kingdom Come: Deliverance will affect your reputation and you’ll have to face the consequences.

Armor layer system
Kingdom Come: Deliverance offers you a 16 slot armor layering system (+4 weapon slots) which allows you to fully customize your character.
·         6 body slots (cloth, chainmail, plate, sleeves, gloves, coat/hood)
·         4 leg slots (trousers, chainmail, armor, boots)
·         4 head slots (coif, chainmail, helmet, necklace)
·         2 jewelry slots (ring, spur)
(Weapon slots contain: weapon, shield, bow, arrow)

Layer different types of armor over each other to prepare for the next battle. From a soft linen shirt to massive full plate armor, every material is good against different types of attacks such as slashes, stabs and blunt hits. Combine different materials to use their benefits and negate their weak spots. A sophisticated physical collision system calculates the exact position of each strike. Due to the collision system, armor pieces only protect particular spots on your body, but the more hits you receive the more your armor is weakened. Keeping armor clean and in good shape is crucial; dirty, bloody or destroyed armor has a direct influence on the effectiveness, your appearance and your reputation. This could result in quests becoming easier or harder, trades cheaper or more expensive, or people might greet you warmly or attack you on sight.
A wisely chosen piece of armor might make the difference between survival and death.
Survival and item quality
Your weapons and armor can be destroyed, which will drastically decrease its quality and effectiveness. Bring your armor to the local smith or use a grind stone to keep your gear in good condition.

Wounds can only be treated with medicine, bandages, food and sleep. But food can spoil so choose wisely what to bring on your next quest. A lack of food or sleep will harm you and affect your overall vitality, combat strength and can eventually lead to death.

On March 3, 2016, Warhorse Studios released the tech Beta of Kingdom Come: Deliverance for Windows PC. This release includes a part of the game’s main storyline, multiple quests, new combat systems, weaponry and the first large-scale battle.

Major Release Brings Necromancy, Player Shops & More


Greetings Citizens of Aria,

The release of our most recent patch marks one of the largest in Shards Online to date since the release of Pre-Alpha 3 in December. If you are an alpha supporter and it's been a while since you've logged in, there's no better time than now! We will also be reactivating trial codes on Thursday for the rest of the week.

Our release delivers new content for adventurers, new abilities and skills, new tameable creatures, an improved new player experience and a wealth of quality of life improvements to our user interface. With the introduction of new resources and improved craftables, our new hireable player vendors allow Citizens of Aria to take part in a true player crafted item economy.

We also have exciting news to share with you regarding our Steam Greenlight, our new Immortal program, and upcoming in-game events!

We are happy to announce that Shards Online was successfully greenlit on the Steam platform in only 16 days! Thanks to everyone who supported us in our Greenlight campaign and for the overwhelming support we received during this period. We still have much to do to be ready for Steam, but expect to launch on Steam in Q4 of this year.

Immortal Program

 

Immortal player characters now inhabit the Shards of Aria. Immortals are GM and player characters who have achieved the Immortal status, dedicating their lives to the community and supporting new and current players. Immortals will be working closely with the Recruits of the Order new player system, our upcoming events and will be a source of information and guidance for players.

 



You will find Immortals regularly available in the Eldeir Village. Recruits of the Order may contact them via guild chat.

 



In-Game Events

Coinciding with our latest release, we will be starting regular In-Game Events on the Shards of Aria server. We’re excited to start showcasing the dungeon mastering potential of Shards Online; roleplay nights, monster hunts, PvP events, dungeon crawls and more!



Our first event will be Sunday, July 17th at 3pm EST! We will be meeting at The Golden Lion and then heading into the Level 2 Catacombs!

Today, we are announcing a new Content Update for Asta, you will probably start to see the information on your favorite MMO websites! Let's have a loot at the new features you can expect!

New difficulty in raid dungeons

When the new raids of the Montain of Trials appeared, we are pretty sure some you were sad to see only a normal difficulty. You are hardcore players, and you always want to face the biggest challenges. The wait is nearly over, you will soon be able to venture in the raids in Hard Mode. As you know from our previous raids, this means much stronger bosses, and no resurrection options appart from the skill of your healers, you will have to take care of them.

The Very Hard dungeons can be entered once per day, but you can do some more by spending a few soul stones. The daily reset takes place on both servers, at 5:00 AM UTC.

Such a challenge should be rewarded accordingly, you will have access to stronger Artifact and Unique equipment, the Genuine weapons. They share a lot with the existing level 55 weapons you know and love, but they have better stats.

New battleground

You might be thinking that, if you had an apportunity, you would show your enemies the smart general you would be, organising your troops, giving the assault at the best time, or finding the best defense strategy. Dreamworld, our new battleground will will you this chance. 2 teams will have to attack a fortified place and conquer the Sword of Prophecy. Once you demonstrated how good of an attacked you are, there will be a second round, to prove you also know how to defend.

Organize your assault, Deploy the siege machines to breach in the fort, no door, bridge or opponent shall slow you down. As a defender, you'll have to contain the constant attacks of the enemy. Your strong troops shall resist that siege.
The team that is the fastest to conquer the Sword will be the only winner!

This new content update is bringing a new world boss, Usata. This gigantic creature in roming on the Western part of Wado. Asu and Ora will have to leave their differences aside if they want to take down the giant. Only the best will be able to gain the precious loot, Unique and Artifact-grade armor pieces.

Gloria Victis has sold 30,000 copies in early access

 An entire month passed since Gloria Victis has been released on Steam Early Access! Though these 30 days were full of intensive work and offered very little sleep for Black Eye Games team, we are proud of this accomplishment and look enthusiastic into the future of development of Gloria Victis.

Over these 30 days, 10 regular patches and many more minor updates have been applied. Among the others, servers’ performance and stability, combat balance, gameplay mechanics and anti-cheat security were greatly improved. Thanks to this effort over 30.000 copies were sold within these 30 days – this income boost will allow us to expand the development team and therefore to work faster on implementing new features and polishing existing systems. We have also established our office – so far we have been working remotely – which allows us to increase our efficiency.

Our plans for future development include:

– Replacing the character’s model and hiring a motion capture studio to rework animations, particular for combat
– Implementation of playable female characters
– Continuously increasing the servers capability, until there is only a single server per supported region of the world (until then you can freely switch between current servers)
– Implementation of siege engines

 Fans won’t have to wait much longer for the hotly anticipated Update 5.0 of fantasy MMO AION Free-to-Play: Gameforge is releasing the game’s newest enhancement to European servers on Wednesday, 10th August – where players will complete numerous quests in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish or Polish on their way up to the new maximum level of 75.

The Free to Play MMO, Blade & Soul’s next content update, Shadows of the Innocents, is set to go live on July 20th. This new update will continue the MMO’s story, bringing with it Acts 5 & 6 of the Blade & Soul saga.

 

On top of that, three new heroic dungeons will be added. Players can choose to challenge the Gloomdross Incursion in either a 4-person or 6-person mode, as well as test their skills in the new Twisted Grimhorn Wilds 24-person instanced dungeon.

TERA – Update Adds New Battleground, Reworked Instances and Wardrobe to Arborea

 Gameforge and developers Bluehole are releasing a new update for TERA which introduces a raft of new contents. Brand-new storage space is available in the form of the Wardrobe, giving players a place to store costumes and accessories they don’t currently need. A new madcap battleground, Kumas Royale, is making an appearance, while more dungeons such as Manglemire and the returning Dreadspire will put five heroes through their paces.

Using the code Crazy2016 there’s also a special bonus bundle available containing various items, including the permanent White Afro Duck mount.

 

 

 

The Adventure Begins – Sandpit Battleground and More Dungeons

In the PvP battleground Kumas Royale, players slip into the role of baby kumases, one of Arborea’s larger-boned races. The teams must attempt to earn victory over three rounds by hunting down and eliminating their opponents’ Boss Kumas, similarly controlled by a player. Players have a wide variety of tongue-in-cheek skills at their command, such as the Rage-Flop which deals damage to all enemies within a certain range.

Players pining for more PvE action will find what they’re looking for in the two reworked challenge dungeons Golden Labyrinth and Akasha's Hideout. When entering these level 65 solo instances, players can choose one or two modes in the form of specific challenges which add a special twist.

Heroes who prefer more cooperative play are sure to find something to satisfy them in Manglemire or the newly reintroduced Dreadspire. In Manglemire everything revolves around truth and lies in the battle against the clown Manglemore; only players who are able to see through his lies will live to tell the tale. Meanwhile, things get increasingly serious ascending the Dreadspire, as the difficulty ramps up with each and every one of its 22 floors. The closer players get to the top of the tower, the more challenging the bosses become.

The Wardrobe – Fashion Storage

The range of fashion options in TERA is virtually limitless. But what do you do with all those accessories you don’t need right now? That’s where the new Wardrobe, accessible via the banker, comes to the fore. This latest addition offers 72 slots for head, face, back and hair accessories, as well as costumes and weapon skins. To make it easier to find the manager, symbols which were previously only used on the world map to indicate NPC professions can be found floating directly above NPCs’ heads with the new patch.

NCSoft today revealed details of the continuation of Blade & Soul‘s storyline after hinting at just that in our E3 2016 meeting. Shadows of the Innocents enters the player into Act 4 and 5 of the tale.

Following the failed invasion of the Dark Lord, a new cult has arisen from the ashes. Enter the Ebondrake Cult, who would like nothing more than to see the Hongmoon School ground into dust once again!

Three new heroic dungeons are set to arrive alongside the Shadows of the Innocents update. Parties of four-six can take part in a naval battle to save Admiral Haemujin. Then once you’re warmed up, enter the Gloomdross Incursion to face the demonic hordes!

Finally players can join the 24 martial artist raid of Twisted Grimhorn Wilds.

"Turbine is transitioning into a free-to-play, mobile development studio, and as a result we are eliminating some positions. The Lord of the Rings Online and Dungeons & Dragons Online games will continue to operate as they do now. Re-focusing and reducing the studio size was a difficult decision for the company, and we are grateful to all of the Turbine staff for their considerable contributions."

The statement doesn't mention what might happen to Turbine's other online RPG, Asheron's Call, which it launched back in 1999 and has been running ever since, after buying it back from original publisher Microsoft.

H1Z1 Patch Buffs Combat and More

Combat Update Notes:

For those that don’t know me, my name is bronstahd (Garrett Fern), and I’m a combat and gameplay designer working on H1Z1: King of the Kill. Tomorrow we are releasing an update we’ve internally termed “the combat update” which is the result of a focused push toward improving combat and related gameplay systems. I wanted to spend some time talking about several of these changes in greater detail to give some insight into what’s changed and why we’re excited about this update’s release.

Shotgun

We’ve continued working to improve the consistency of the shotgun. Our goal is that the shotgun should be a powerful, up close threat. This update further tightens the shotgun’s spread of fire, making it more powerful up close. In addition, the shotgun’s damage will fall off over distance, so it isn’t too powerful at range. The feedback we’ve seen has been positive so far, so we’re really looking forward to seeing these changes on the live servers.

Cone of Fire

Recently, we added Cone of Fire adjustments based on your character's movement state. We did this because, put simply, guns were performing far too accurately when running and jumping. Philosophically, our belief has always been that aiming down sight should be the most accurate method of aiming; this change made sure that's the case.

However, it was also possible to aim down sight while jumping, which also allowed for tremendous accuracy in a way that didn't make sense. This update addresses that issue by preventing ADS while jumping or falling. This has also allowed us to ease up on some previous combat restrictions around movement and it will now be possible to shoot and ADS directly from sprint. You'll no longer have to wait for your character to slow down and suffer a delay when trying to shoot.

General Weapon Polish

This update also contains a lot of general weapon polish. In no particular order, here's what you should expect to see:

• Historically, melee weapons have been underwhelming and of little use. As a first step toward addressing this, we've increased melee weapon damage across the board. This won't entirely fix melee weapons, but it should be a noticeable improvement:

  • Fists: 4.5 damage -> 9 damage

  • Combat Knife: 10 damage -> 21 damage

  • Machete: 12 damage -> 25 damage

  • Wood Axe: 16.5 damage -> 34 damage

• Since our last change to the AK-47 we've been listening to the community and the feedback has been pretty clear: it's not powerful enough when compared to the AR15.

We've been internally testing a faster fire rate for the AK-47 which we'll be rolling out with this update. Here's what you should expect to see:

  • The AK-47 should be faster than AR15 in full auto fire, but more difficult to control.

  • The AK-47 should be closer in speed to the AR15 when tapping.

  • Specifically, the delay between shots has been reduced from 160 ms -> 145 ms.

We think this change will create nice some trade-offs between the weapons and make the AK-47 a compelling choice once again.

• Increased the damage of the R380 from 15 -> 17 to reduce the number of shots required to kill with it by one.

• Decreased the damage of the M9 from 19 -> 18 to allow time to apply healing after taking five shots. Previously it wasn't possible to apply any type of healing before bleeding to death.

• We've made some adjustments to the M47 Gas Grenade that should make them far more viable as a thrown weapon option:

  • Damage increased from 1/tick-> 3/tick.

  • Duration reduced from 60 seconds -> 20 seconds.

• Depending on the weapon, it used to take anywhere between 0.5 seconds to 1 second to change from one weapon to another. This time has been reduced to 0.15 seconds for all weapons.

• Weapon slots will always be assigned the same number, regardless of whether or not there are weapons in other slots.

Damage Log

We believe that when a player dies it should be very clear to them what killed them. That’s not always the case currently. As a first step towards remedying this, we’ve added a damage log to the death screen that will display how much damage the attack that killed you did and whether or not it was a headshot. Moving forward, the plan is to re-work the death screen so we can display even more information about cause of death.

Body Armor

EDITS MADE

We've also made some changes to the way Armor works that should improve the reliability of body armor:

• The entire body (chest, arms, and legs) is protected by Body Armor.

• Helmets still protect the head.

Hit Reactions

Hit reaction animations would cause the other character's head moved, often preventing a quick follow-up shot from registering as a headshot when it should. Other characters will no longer flinch out of the way when shot.

Camera & Reticle Improvements

We've made a couple of improvements to the reticle.

• We’ve added a new element to the reticle that increases in size to display Cone of Fire information based on player movement.

• Improved color saturation and added clearer outline which should make seeing the reticle, even small reticles, much easier.

• In most cases, projectiles now originate from the camera rather than the weapon model. This change significantly reduces projectile collisions with medium-height cover like fences, rocks, cars, and similar objects and also improves projectile performance when fighting uphill or against players on top of buildings.

In some cases, it was possible for one player to have clear line of sight on another player, due to the camera being offset above their head, while actually being obscured from the other player’s view. We felt this would be unfair, and in these cases (generally, when your character is very close to medium-height cover) projectiles will still originate from the weapon model. We’ve added feedback to the reticle to make it clear when this is happening.

General Gameplay

KotK Crafting

In this update we're also adding some new crafting recipes to King of the Kill.

Makeshift Armor

We're pretty happy with the current scarcity of Body Armor, and like that finding it feels special. However, the changes to Body Armor outlined above meant that players without Body Armor would be at an even bigger disadvantage than before when fighting against an armored player. For that reason, we've added a new crafted armor, Makeshift Armor, which will block one shot and can be worn as a fall-back to Body Armor.

  • Components: Components: 1 Duct Tape, 2 Armor Scraps, and 4 Composite Fabric

• Motorcycle helmets can be “shredded” to provide armor scrap

• Military Backpacks can be “shredded” to provide composite fabric

Procoagulant

  • Procoagulant is a quick-use item that can be used to quickly stop bleeding without any additional healing effects.

  • Components: 10 Field Bandages, 1 Tactical First Aid Kit.

5x Explosive Tipped Arrow

  • Obviously, explosive arrows are very powerful, so we'll be keeping a close eye on feedback for this recipe and monitoring its impact on game balance.

  • Components: 5 M67 Frag Grenades, 5 Wooden Arrows, 1 Duct Tape, 5 12 Gauge Buckshot Shells.

• There are some small item spawn changes that support the additions to crafting:

  • Duct Tape now spawns on the map for use in some of the new crafting recipes.

  • Explosive Tipped and Flaming Arrows no longer spawn on the map.

Footwear Changes

With these changes we wanted to create some more interesting choice when selecting footwear. To accomplish this, we're introducing a new type of footwear and making some tweaks to the existing options.

Stealthy Shoes (New!)

  • Replaces boots as new starting shoes.

  • Similar in volume to bare feet.

  • 2% faster than bare feet.

  • Reduce falling damage by 5%.

Heavy Shoes (boots & variants)

  • Loudest shoes.

  • 7% faster than bare feet.

  • Reduce falling damage by 40%

Speedy Shoes (conveys & variants)

  • Louder than stealthy shoes, quieter than heavy shoes.

  • 16% faster than bare feet.

  • Reduce falling damage by 15%.

Interaction Responsiveness

We’ve long had problems with delays in picking up items. It isn’t really a combat related thing, but it was a big enough deal that we wanted to pursue a fix for this update. The time it takes to pick up items, open doors, and perform other interactions has been greatly improved and is now nearly instantaneous.

Additional Patch Notes:

  • Items should be more consistently highlighted during looting

  • Removed dynamic weapon slot numbers from the UI

  • The team auto-fill button is back and should behave correctly

  • Fixed a bug where hit-markers would occasionally get stuck on

  • Fixed a bug where players could not melee others on ATVs

  • Fixed a bug where explosions could damage players through structures

  • Fixed a bug where the Molotov’s fire effect would sometimes be invisible

  • Corrected Molotov behavior so that they damage vehicles but do not cause them to burn

  • Fixed an issue where players would render incorrectly if they exit a vehicle at certain distances

  • Fixed a bug where thrown grenades could go through players

  • Fixed a bug where equipping a weapon while inventory is full could cause the player to lose the weapon

  • Fixed an exploit where swapping backpacks a specific way could create infinite bag space

  • Fixed a bug where the UI would make it appear that multiple hits were registering at once

  • Fixed a bug where character would appear to be falling when strafing against concrete barriers

  • Fixed a bug where the reloading the AK-47 while firing could prevent the reload animation from playing

KNOWN ISSUES:

  • There is a bug where Bundles of Arrows cannot be picked up using “E.” However, they can be picked up using Proximity (done by opening your Inventory / Tab Key).
