Riders of Icarus outlines its new PvP map, guild alliances, Manastone mode

Riders of Icarus outlines its new PvP map, guild alliances, Manastone mode

Play PVP in the Exarahn Badlands

Greetings, Riders! My name is BK, and I manage overseas development for Riders of Icarus at WeMade. We are excited to announce that expanded PvP content for Riders of Icarus will be added to the game later this month! You will now be able to enjoy and compete in large-scale combat activities against your fellow Riders. We hope that guild members will forge bonds in battle and develop rivalries with other guilds through the Exarahn Badlands and Guild Alliance War.

EXARAHN BADLANDS

Riders enter this PvP area through a dimensional rift, which sends them 1,000 years back in time. The Exarahn Badlands is a region that has been left chaotic and lawless after the fall of the ancient Exarahn Kingdom and before the establishment of the Hakanas Empire.

image

The Exarahn Badlands has a similar topography to the Hakanas Highlands. However, it is a world of eternal nightfall with a looming crimson moon, which starkly contrasts the blue skies and vibrant foliage of the Hakanas Highlands.

image

This area is restricted to Riders level 28 or higher to ensure that only those that have had sufficient experience in battle may enter. Upon entering the rift and arriving in the Exarahn Badlands, all Riders other than those in your guild, alliance or party will become targetable enemies! So, you will have to be aware of your surroundings at all times when questing or hunting wild beasts. Yes, the risks in this region are great, but so are the rewards.

image

Because there is no penalty for dying in PvP, Riders who don’t usually enjoy PvP should still try out the Exarahn Badlands content at least once. There are quests to be completed and new areas to explore, as well as new mounts to tame for Riders ready to brave the dangers of the Exarahn Badlands.

Wildstar -- Redmoon Rising update—arriving August 17

The Redmoon Terror

In a transmission intercepted from a Protostar QC recovery team—presumably on a routine mission to annoy every sentient creature in the galaxy—a craft reportedly hulking in the Nexus skyline has been identified as the remains of an abandoned pirate ship known as the Redmoon Terror. A spokesperson for the Ekose Shiphands Union was able to specify that the floating fortress had been a Marauder flagship seized in a murderous mutiny by none other than Mordechai Redmoon himself—who then very humbly attached his own name to it. Known to have bitten the proverbial moon dust on Skullcano Island, the ship of Mordechai Redmoon serves as a haunting reminder of his vast (and past) pirating deeds—if not the general dangers of space debris.

Even after all this time the ship now appears to be teeming with activity, believed by some to be automated response systems due to its proximity to the Nexus atmosphere. But one of the first captains of the ship, Ish’amel—back when it was called the Nebula's Knave—believes the crew to now be risen from the dead by the insidious Laveka the Dark-Hearted, and is offering a reward to all able bodied adventurers willing to end this undead nightmare.

Spooky sorcery or just spinning space trash? You decide!

RUNEFEST 2016 JOURNEYS TO THE EASTERN ISLES AS TICKETS CLOSE TO SELLING OUT IN RECORD TIME

RUNEFEST 2016 JOURNEYS TO THE EASTERN ISLES AS TICKETS CLOSE TO SELLING OUT IN RECORD TIME

RuneScape heads east with a new archipelago continent and a new venue for its annual community convention

RuneScape is setting sail for a brand new continent this October – The Eastern Isles – and RuneFest 2016, the iconic game’s fan convention, is set to celebrate the upcoming Polynesian-inspired destination! Taking place on Saturday 17th September at London’s Battersea Evolution, RuneFest 2016 will take attendees on an epic journey across the seas to the new oceanic land of islands. Demand for tickets, which went on sale a fortnight ago, has meant the community event is approaching selling out in record time.

An initial segment of the continent, The Arc, is now available and contains the islands of Whale's Maw, Waiko and Aminishi islands anchoring many other smaller islets. On these islands, the indigenous people have never heard of the player’s adventures, so gamers will have to start afresh, building back up their wealth and notoriety – even long-term players will be on a level playing field.

In addition to sharing further information about The Eastern Isles, RuneFest 2016 will see a barrage of main stage announcements, covering the latest news and future plans for RuneScape, Old School RuneScape, Chronicle: RuneScape Legends, and more. Festooned in the finery of the Eastern Isles, RuneFest attendees can expect to participate in themed activities, including a cosplay parade, challenges, Q&A sessions with key developers, meet and greets, a huge after-party, and a raft of other distractions and diversions.

“We can’t wait to meet up with our fellow ‘Scapers at RuneFest 2016 as they join us for an intrepid celebration as RuneScape pushes new horizons. We’ll be showcasing the new frontiers of the Eastern Isles and announce some of new content heading to RuneScape in the year ahead,” said David Osborne, lead designer, RuneScape. “We’ll also be unveiling our plans for other games in the family, including Old School RuneScape and its ever growing popularity in the eSports sector, mobile versions of Chronicle: RuneScape Legends, and the upcoming 0.5-player game, RuneScape: Idle Adventures.”

Lucky RuneScapers – and those looking to secure their journey to the Eastern Lands – can find further information about RuneFest 2016 by visiting www.runescape.com/runefest .

ALBION ONLINE GETS WEALTH OF NEW ARTIFACTS IN THE FINAL BETA

German Developer Sandbox Interactive is dedicated to giving players of the sandbox MMORPG Albion Online the best possible gaming experience. The addition of the new Artifact Items in the Final Beta is yet another proof. These special items give players a new type of powerful equipment – each with a distinctive look, unique abilities and spells embedded in them. That doesn’t just mean more valuable loot in the PvE zones. It means a whole new way to increase a player character’s power and versatility.

When the Final Beta goes online on August 1st, 18 of these Artifact Items (10 weapons, 2 off-hands, 2 amor sets) will be available for players to craft. But Sandbox Interactive already has more in store for their players. As time goes by, the developer will stock up and give players a total of 81 Artifact Items.

Asta’s next update includes a new battleground, more difficult raids, and a new world boss

Asta’s next update includes a new battleground, more difficult raids, and a new world boss

Today, we are announcing a new Content Update for Asta, you will probably start to see the information on your favorite MMO websites! Let's have a loot at the new features you can expect!

New difficulty in raid dungeons

When the new raids of the Montain of Trials appeared, we are pretty sure some you were sad to see only a normal difficulty. You are hardcore players, and you always want to face the biggest challenges. The wait is nearly over, you will soon be able to venture in the raids in Hard Mode. As you know from our previous raids, this means much stronger bosses, and no resurrection options appart from the skill of your healers, you will have to take care of them.

The Very Hard dungeons can be entered once per day, but you can do some more by spending a few soul stones. The daily reset takes place on both servers, at 5:00 AM UTC.

Such a challenge should be rewarded accordingly, you will have access to stronger Artifact and Unique equipment, the Genuine weapons. They share a lot with the existing level 55 weapons you know and love, but they have better stats.

New battleground

You might be thinking that, if you had an apportunity, you would show your enemies the smart general you would be, organising your troops, giving the assault at the best time, or finding the best defense strategy. Dreamworld, our new battleground will will you this chance. 2 teams will have to attack a fortified place and conquer the Sword of Prophecy. Once you demonstrated how good of an attacked you are, there will be a second round, to prove you also know how to defend.

DreamworldDreamworld

Organize your assault, Deploy the siege machines to breach in the fort, no door, bridge or opponent shall slow you down. As a defender, you'll have to contain the constant attacks of the enemy. Your strong troops shall resist that siege.
The team that is the fastest to conquer the Sword will be the only winner!

“This is the battlefield where Arita's dream of the Sword of PRophecy was first realized. Seekers compete to overcome obstacles blocking te path to enlightenment and reach the Stone Chamber where the Sword of Prophecy is located.”

Map of Dreamworld

But these are not the only changes that this content update will bring.

Are you looking for a fearsome enemy?

This new content update is bringing a new world boss, Usata. This gigantic creature in roming on the Western part of Wado. Asu and Ora will have to leave their differences aside if they want to take down the giant. Only the best will be able to gain the precious loot, Unique and Artifact-grade armor pieces.

Gloria Victis has sold 30,000 copies in early access

Gloria Victis has sold 30,000 copies in early access

An entire month passed since Gloria Victis has been released on Steam Early Access! Though these 30 days were full of intensive work and offered very little sleep for Black Eye Games team, we are proud of this accomplishment and look enthusiastic into the future of development of Gloria Victis.

Over these 30 days, 10 regular patches and many more minor updates have been applied. Among the others, servers’ performance and stability, combat balance, gameplay mechanics and anti-cheat security were greatly improved. Thanks to this effort over 30.000 copies were sold within these 30 days – this income boost will allow us to expand the development team and therefore to work faster on implementing new features and polishing existing systems. We have also established our office – so far we have been working remotely – which allows us to increase our efficiency.

Our plans for future development include:

– Replacing the character’s model and hiring a motion capture studio to rework animations, particular for combat
– Implementation of playable female characters
– Continuously increasing the servers capability, until there is only a single server per supported region of the world (until then you can freely switch between current servers)
– Implementation of siege engines
– Implementations of sailing and naval combat
– Implementation of mounts and mounted combat
– Implementation of the housing system
– Implementation of dynamic events dynamically changing the world according to the players’ actions
– Implementation of new playable factions
– Expanding the available world – right now you have access to a large archipelago but the lands will be expanded with an entire mainland
– Numerous minor features, including fishing, gambling and emotes

Thank you for your awesome support and see you in battle!
